Wedding Songs
I am often asked by brides and wedding couples to suggest songs for their First Dance. It can be difficult to suggest a song to someone for their first dance as it should be something that you personally like and connect with. For example a special song that reminds you of your partner or the first time you met, your first kiss... that is what I recommend when picking a first dance song that has personal meaning for your first dance.
There are many wedding traditions that are hard on the bride and sometimes, the entire family is swept up into these traditions. Some of these customs are very difficult and some are easy but I think that they should all be easy. When you think about it, wedding are hard enough to prepare for without going through all of these weird traditions that our ancient families made up so that they would have something to laugh about in the afterlife as they watch us running around down here trying to fulfill all of these idiocies.
Choosing an appropriate song for a bride and grooms first dance at their wedding can be more difficult than you might think. Finding a song with all the key ingredients: a suitable tempo, appropriate lyrics and decent tune is often a challenge, particularly with respect to the songs meaning. This article highlights some of the inappropriate songs that are sometimes chosen and provides some guidance on how to make a good choice.
Couples wedded to each other for five, seven, ten and even twenty five or thirty years are seen to nostalgically recall their first dance song, after saying those magical words - "I do". It is indeed a special day when a couple becomes "man and wife", and a celebration of their commitment and love to one another takes place. It is often seen that couples even prior to being engaged, plan hard about the perfect wedding song which would be played when they would share their first dance. The first dance between a bride and her groom does more than set the tone of the wedding reception. It reflects the tone of the union - stepping formally into a new world for the first time as a couple.
The reception is where the culmination of the wedding will be held. It is here where people will get to enjoy the celebration together with the newly married couple. For this matter, every detail of the celebration must provide satisfaction and contentment not only to the bride and groom but to all visitors and guests as well. At the reception, the elements that will make the celebration a success are comfortable venue, great foods, party floor, and, of course, music.
A daughter's wedding is one of the best days in a father's life because this is when she is embarking upon a new life with a partner who will love and cherish her. A father feels very proud and emotional at the same time when he walks his daughter down the aisle and later on when they have their father and daughter dance. When you are planning your wedding music you will have a great time choosing songs, especially one that you will dance too with your father.
